Tables

Uploading tables:

1. Convert  EXCEL spreadsheet to Google spreadsheed by opening it up using Google Sheets. HOW?

     a. Sign into Google gmail account

     b. Open Google Docs from menu located in upper right
         hand corner seen when you click on the the 3 x 3 grid icon.

         You will have to click on "More" to see the Google docs                  after click on the 3 X 3 icon.

     c. Open Google Sheets located in the upper left hand corner

         seen when you click on the 3 horizontal parallel lines icon.

     d. Either choose the document shown below OR upload it

         from you computer. If this step went well, your spreadsheet

         will open. If not, the document did not load properly.

2. Publish spreadsheet for the Web

     a. Choose "Publish for the web" located under the "File" menu

     b. Choose "Link", "Entire Document" and "Publish".

     c. Copy that link.

3. Import data using Tablemaster

     a. Log in to website

     b. Go to page that you want to add data.

     c. Click on table.

     d. Choose "Data Source"

     e. Choose "Upload your Google Spreadsheet URL"

     f.  Paste link 

     g. Submit

     h. IF YOU GET AN ERROR -

         Go back to Google Docs/Sheets

         File

         Share

         Advanced

         Private --- Change this setting to Public

         Save

         Copy and paste the new URL into Tablemaster

 

Updating Tables:

To update the table, add new information to Google spreadsheet while logged into your gmail account. The data will be automatically loaded when you refresh the website.

HOW?

1. Log into your gmail account.

2. Open Google Docs from your menu located in the upper right hand corner seen by a 3 x 3 dot array. You will have to click on "More" to see the Google docs after click on the 3 X 3 icon.

3. Open Google Sheets located in the upper left hand corner         seen when you click on the 3 horizontal parallel lines icon.   

4. Choose the document shown below that you want to update.

5. Type changes to document. Changes are saved automatically.

 

 

Go to leftmost column and click on the 

 

Next, select "Image"

 

Then select "My Uploads/My Image Uploads"

 

You can either select the image

that you want from your library,

in which case a check will appear

in the upper right hand corner

of the image. To complete this 

process, click "Add to Page"

 

 

 

 

 

OR   "Upload New Image"

Located in the upper right

hand corner

 

 

Select the image from your computer and then

click on "Choose". The image will be added to

your library.

 

If you want to add that image to

the current page, click

"Add to page" on the lower

right hand corner of the box.
